Back at it #2

Hey there everyone. It’s Bee here with another update about my personal status, and what I’ll be doing from now on. Basically, I’ve taken a “rest” for a month or so, which hasn’t really been a rest, beause I’ve been all over fixing stuff in Onee-chan, and it’s been somewhat annoying, but I finished that some days ago, and I’m pretty much not going to touch the game anymore. As far as my involvement with the project goes, I’m completely done with it.

The images are being worked on by the image guy (he says he’ll be done by sunday), all the while the proofreaders are going through the script. They won’t take long, so I can say with confidence that the next post will be without a doubt a patch release for the game. Very excited to finally put out some full work out there.

Anyways, in other news, most people already know, but I’m going to work on the remaining routes that need to be translated for Gin’Haru before I jump into Akatsuki 2 for good. I talked it out with the editor of the previous team Irru, and we decided to work together to finish the game, or at the very least Mizuha’s route. I’m not very sure about working on Yuzuki’s just yet, mainly because I don’t like little sister characters, but time will eventually tell if I’ll do it or not.

Just so everyone is aware, my intention is to preserve the overall feel that triplicate’s translation gave, so I’m obviously leaving honorifics in, and taking a more literal approach to the text. Apart from that, all I can ask for is patience and understanding, considering I’m not the fastest guy in the universe. I predict that sometime this year Mizuha’s route will be finished, but I don’t wanna raise expectations to avoid any sort of harassment directed to myself or the team, so I’ll just say that I’ll eventually finish it, and that’s that.

Anyways, that’s pretty much everything I wanted to say. Have a good one, and remember to go to church.

Thank you for working on Gin’Haru and very cool you are working with Irru. Like finally writing the wrongs of the past so the speak. Again, thank you so much and so happy you are also working with Irru.

Well, there weren’t any wrongs in the past. I can understand why people burn out. I have done so in the past as well. Thanks for the support either way, friend!

  2. Very happy to see that, I hope the work goes smoothly and I VERY hope you decide to translate Yuzuki’s route, it’s the route I want to play the most and literally every day I look to see if any translation came out, but even if you don’t translate, continue with the good work and you will still have my full support

Honestly, the logical thing would be to just finish both the routes, but it all depends on how I feel once I’m done with Mizuha. Thanks for the support either way, friend!

Thank you so much for picking this back up! Many people (myself included) will be very very happy that this project is getting completed.

It’s even better that you’re working with the original team 🙂

Good luck and skill, and thank you again!

Really thank you for picking up the project! I was very saddened when it was dropped, Mizuha’s route was the reason I was so eagerly waiting for this visual novel to be translated, so it was quite frustrating when it became 1 of the only 2 routes to be left out…Good that now it will finally be possible to play it in English!

Glad to hear that Gin’iro Haruka is restarting. Hatsukoi 1/1 got me in love with Tone Works VNs and this one has been one of my favorites thus far. Love the VA for Mizuha 😀

  7. This is very good news. I’m so happy to see that this is being worked on again! Thank you, to both you and Irru, for not giving up on this VN. ^^
