Will you work on the sequels of Akatsuki no Goei, those being Reminiscence, and Reminiscence Re:Collect?
(UPDATED AS OF LATE 2023) This is a question I get all the time, and the short answer is no. The long answer requires some explanation, but basically noooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooooo.
Will you work on other Minato games such as Wagahime and Minato Carnival?
No.
How did you learn Japanese / Where did you learn?
Though I primarily self-studied to the point where I could read, I gained my mastery of the language through my teacher Hinata. He runs an online academy here in Spain, and he’s fluent in both English and Spanish, as well as Japanese (he is Japanese, duh). If you wanna learn from him, here’s the link to his place.
Will the akatsuki no goei patches support the trinity version only, or will it support the standalone games as well?
The Guardians of Daybreak patches will work exclusively on the trinity version. If you do decide to purchase this version, understand that you’re placing your trust in us, since the trinity version contains the entire trilogy of Akatsuki, so do take this into account before purchasing it. We do, however, not take any responsibility in the event we don’t fully go through with our commitments. We do NOT recommend buying the games until the full patch is out.

Man, there is no other site that I visit EVERY DAY waiting for the Yuzuki patch, I really appreciate all of your work, I think I’ve been waiting for this translation to come out for more than 2 years, but I have faith that soon It will be ready

Thanks for translating the final 2 routes of Giniro’haruka, been following the development since TZ scans first started it with Trip and irru, i joking once mentioned that there is a similar VN like Hoshi ori after they finished along with other discord buddies,but never thought it actually will be translated given how long toneworks projects are. these slice of life, chill and relaxing VNs are gems and often overlooked. if your translation team needs more heart warming vn like this then perhaps you should check out Amakano series.

Hey there jpo, thank you for the very nice comment. I just saw it today, which is why I answer so late.
Though Gin-Iro was definitely a nice experience, personally I prefer visual novels with a touch of spice and more plot-heavy overall, which is why I’ll probably try to stray away from slice of life/moe content for the foreseeable future.
In any case, I hope you can continue to support us and our work regardless.

i saw you guys translating the sequel for Tsujido Ai, and I was just wondering if you plan to translate Minato Carnival FD in the future. The game itself is a collaboration between Tsujidou-san no Jun’ai Road and Anekouji Naoko to Gin’iro no Shinigami.thanks again to picking up tsujido ai sequel.
Hello heave. Going straight to the point: no. I read carnival, and personally didn’t find it very enjoyable. You should not expect us working on it after Tsujidou.

Out of curiosity since I know next to nothing about it, what’s wrong with carnival? Assuming we’re just speaking about the Tsujidou content? Also thanks aswell for working on the base sequel.
Carnival has 2 good things about it: the Anekouji side story, and the Majikoi skit with all the minato characters. The issue lies with the Tsujidou storyline. It tries to sell you a new heroine, with the inclusion of “Jojo Stands” for each heroine, which in concept sounds amazing, but ultimately not only is mostly ignored, but also mocked and badly implemented. The “story,” if you can even call it that, is basically another girl’s H-scenes you can fap to, but with no substance whatsoever. I really dislike it when writers pretend that they’re gonna write something big, only to fall flat and excuse it with tons of H-scenes, and I’m very tired of translating shit that has no substance, which is why I’ll probably never work on the game.
