A. Welcome to another funny update, this time doing it the 4th of July because I’m in America, and I’m free, baby.
Anyways, I’ll try to go over things quickly and talk about some non-translation updates:
First of all, Majikoi A+ is going a little slow, but it’s going. I’m planning to finish Bushou’s route this weekend at some point, or next week at the latest. As for the rest of the game, I more or less predict that by September I’ll have the whole thing done. It mostly depends on how busy I’ll be either way, so I’ll keep you guys posted on that.
Kobra is finishing Shuumatsuron, he’s on the last set of routes so that should not take very long until we’re fully done.
Ryouken After is currently starting the editing phase. Kobra says he’ll take around 2 or 3 weeks to finish the whole thing, so expect an August release at some point. Images are done, engine work is done as well. Editing and QA are left.
Last but not least, I’ve had a lot of people message me both on the website and privately about being open to donate to us if we opened a monthly page, so we’ve decided to go ahead with that, but only after the full patch release of Majikoi A+.
Currently we’ve made a subscribestar page, but we might change it to ko-fi depending on how long the approval system of the former takes. This is how the tiers look like right now, if you guys have extra suggestions we’ll appreciate it.

Also, yes, this does mean we’ll open chats for the current discord public server for donators. This will give me a reason to invest more hours per day on these projects, since work currently keeps me super busy.
Apart from that, along with the release of A+, we’re going to open a poll for 2025 to decide what we’ll do after we’re done with Tsujidou. Currently we have 3 options:
- 幕末尽忠報国烈士伝 MIBURO // Bakumatsu Jinchuu Houkoku Resshiden Miburo
- 月に寄りそう乙女の作法 (Full-Voiced Edition, Includes Fandisk Content) // Tsuki ni Yorisou Otome no Sahou
- 紅月ゆれる恋あかり // Akatsuki Yureru Koi Akari
Take into account only those with specific tiers will be able to vote this time around.
Anyways, that’s it for this month. I’ll let Kobra write his piece now.
Hey everyone, Kobra here. Been suffering through Shuumatsuron but thanks to irl commitments and dragging Bee halfway to death during his American adventure, it’s been kinda challenging to find enough time to get a lot of editing done. That being said, things should lighten up after the holidays are over. As we said earlier, we are planning for a project post-Tsujidou, but since the projects we listed above are pretty long games, we decided to open up a subscription-type service to ease the burden on our end of keeping this thing we’re doing alive.
For a lot of us, this is our first time doing anything like this so please be patient with us as we figure this out along with you. Other than that, Bee said pretty much everything that needed to be said, so I’m going to embrace my god-given American right of lighting shit on fire and blowing things up to celebrate my country’s independence. See y’all later, and God Bless America.
OORAH (Bee & Kobra)
Guys, I think the choice of letter color for the text above does not mix very well with the background.
I just noticed, sorry about it. We’ll change it asap
subscribestar apparently accept prepaid card, which would a plus for me.
Lurker here. Dropping by to declare my thanks for all the efforts everyone in your team put into Goei. I hope someday, even if it’s literally 10 years from now, you consider Reminiscence + sequel before the insanity that is 100+ hrs of Bakumatsu lol.
I
Hey there, bud. I am going to translate part of reminiscence to add it to the final release of the trilogy (albeit a very small amount of it).
The reason I don’t wanna work on Remi is because I’m honestly a little burned from Kinugasa and Akabei (a company that hasn’t treated me very well as a professional). Therefore, I feel like working on more games belonging to their property would be against my values. The only scenario in which I see myself working on Reminiscence is if I was offered to work on it as a professional.
As for Bakumatsu, it is long, but it’s definitely one of the best visual novel experiences I’ve had in the last few years, so I’m sure we could find a way to translate it and provide a release schedule of partials until the full release is done. Personally, I do not believe Miburo’s gonna win, however. Tsuriotsu was a close contender to Tsujidou, and I’m certain it’ll win this round (personal opinion).
Either way, thanks a lot for the comment and support!
