Hello. It’s been a while, but here I am with another update. Last one was some time ago, and I’m returning to Spain in about a week, so I thought doing one of these to keep everyone up to speed was the best choice.
First things first, there has been little progress while I’ve been in Japan, mainly due to me working, but also because I’ve been touristing around the country, which has been taking most of my availability away. This progress will resume in November, but I’m already doing some touches on Akatsuki again.
As for the things that have kept me busy related to visual novels: Cherry Kiss and Anchor.
Yeah, it ain’t a joke. I worked with Alternative Projects/Anchor on the release of Teito Moyu (I think the English title is “The Imperial Capital Burns” or something of the sort?) as QA / TLC. I’ll write my thoughts on the project, translation, and other details in my other blog, but I’m not sure when that’ll happen, so for the time being I’ll simply say I will and leave it at that.
I ended the poll a little early, mainly because I thought leaving it up wouldn’t change the results too much. The winner has been Tsujidou-san no Virgin Road, which means that Daybreak will make a pretty hard steer towards Minatosoft once we’re done with Akatsuki. Fun days ahead of us, I’m looking forward to giving Tsujidou some closing as many have wanted to for some years now.

That’s pretty much everything for now. If anything, I apologize for the lack of substantial progress on my end these last couple months, and I hope I can go back to how I was doing prior to my Japan trip once I return to the Motherland.
Have a good one, chumps.
Bee
Any other poll I would have voted for virgin road, which I am extremely I will be able to read, but I have to admit that I was really hoping Tsuki ni Yorisou Otome no Sahou would win. Well, the result are what they are, and I am looking foreword to reading virgin road, so thank you for all your hard work, Bee (and everyone else in daybreak translations)! I really appreciate all the hard work!
which I am extremely *happy* I will be able to read.
Honestly, the only visual novel I’m waiting for is Ginhiro Haruka. I really liked Tone Works previous VN. I hope you guys can finish it before 2024
Trust me, buddy, I want to release it as soon as I can, too. Thanks for the support!
