Since Bee couldn’t be arsed to write an update this month, I, the man of many names will have to do it. Some have called me P-san, and some have called me the editor. Others have called me retard, and still others have called me Grima Wormtongue, but you may call me Kobra2112.

Truth be told this got delegated up and down the chain of command multiple times but landed on my desk anyway, as these things tend to do.

So that means we’re gonna have fun with this.

Allow me to set the scene for you. You’re browsing through a video game shop, when you feel a familiar pull that calls to you. It’s a dusty shelf, way in the back corner. You see a single, solitary case on said shelf. Walking over and picking it up, you see characters saying things like “Mashter, fill me with your hot, schticky love juice!♥” “I’m gonna lose my mind if you make me cum again!♥” and most terrifyingly, “Hyaaaaaaah!♥” As the realization of what you’re reading sets in, you look down and see a single, solitary fragment of a sentence that fills you with a sense of dread, and a horrifying realization:

“Translated by BarryBee.”

So yeah, that’s what he’s been up to this month. As a show of solidarity, we’ll be ending every sentence of the rest of this post with a ♥. And before you think I’m being an asshole and bullying him again, well:

Akatsuki no Goei

The game is undergoing QA ♥. Last I checked, there was some progress being made, let’s see what those proofreaders are up to… ♥

Lazy bastards, I’ll have to reanimate their corpses now to get this done♥. Anyway, progress is being made on that front, it would just appear I have to be a bit more direct in getting people to complete their assignments on time♥. We’re looking at a Christmas release, so provided I don’t have to beat people into submission to get things done, we might actually make that so please look forward to it♥. In the pursuit of transparency and accountability, we are going to include the following in that release:

• Akatsuki no Goei 1 full rework
  Due to my passive-aggressive, cocaine-fueled obsession with things actually reading decently, I decided to go back through the entire first game and rework the entirety of the text♥. We are also going to revisit a few things in that game we didn’t like and work them out accordingly so they read better, and the experience is a bit more polished♥. Almost 2/3rds of the text has been changed in some way, shape or form, so even if you’ve already read the game, it may be worth it to read through again to refresh your memory or get a better experience this time♥.
• Akatsuki no Goei 2/fandisc full translation
  Zealrot finally finished QAing this after an eternity, so his beatings will cease… for now♥. He has a lot more work to do on Game 3♥.
• Akatsuki no Goei: Shuumatsuron (Twilight Judgment) full translation
  Currently we’re working on QA here, but we also have our image editor, Looper, working on adding UI elements and logo updates, as well as subbed EDs/OPs for the whole trilogy, along with a few other goodies that will show up later on♥.
• Akatsuki no Goei Drama CD: Yugenbukaki Onsenyado or as we’re choosing to call it, “High Noon Reprieve: Onsen Boogaloo”
  This will be part of the Akatsuki fandisc since it technically takes place after the first game, yet also in a timeline where everyone’s routes are canon♥. Basically Fate/Hollow Ataraxia rules, if that makes any sense, which it shouldn’t because that game makes no fucking sense♥. It was an exclusive for those who bought the Trinity Version back when it first released♥. You’ll be able to read it (listen to it?, idfk) once you’ve unlocked and read all the routes in the fandisc, so it’s a little something extra for those who go through everything♥.

Anywho, that about sums up our plans for release♥. As always, we’ll keep you updated through the recently re-opened community discord♥.

Majikoi A+

Bee: “Hey Kobra, I need you to help me with something.”
Kobra: “Yeah sure, what do you need?”
Bee: “Can you make a schedule for me that helps me stay on track with Majikoi A+ so I can consistently and steadily translate the remainder of the game? And can you make it by tomorrow?”
Kobra: “Uhh, yeah I’m kinda busy, but sure, I guess.”

Did I make the schedule♥? Yes♥. Did he follow it♥? No♥. Public shaming aside, it’s on the back burner until he finishes working on the other mental trauma he’s being paid to endure, and we plan to have it out hopefully early next year♥ (provided Bee actually follows directions for once). I have started the editing process to try and move things along and light a fire under his ass, so I’m hoping that will yield results♥. Beatings will continue until morale improves♥. Tsujidou-san no Virgin Road

I wish I had something to say about this, but until we finish the other two projects, I doubt I’ll have much to say about this one♥. Rest assured, we haven’t forgotten about it, and we will get to it… eventually♥.

So that’s about it for this month, can’t really say much else because we’re still working out the whole Patreon/donation meme thing in the background, so when there’s something to say about that, we’ll say it♥.

Let’s see, is there anything else I can do to piss off Bee and make him regret having me write this article… oh yeah, that oughta do it♥.
